Intensive Course Information

DVSA statistical guideline?

The DVSA estimates that novice drivers need about forty-five hours of instruction from a fully trained driving instructor and an additional twenty hours of private practise. Given that an intense course is designed to cover an average length time of 40 hours for a complete novice. This is a typical amount of practise hours required to be ready to drive on your own.

What is an intensive course?

Also referred to as a crash course, an intensive driving course crams in all the training you need to pass your test in a shorter timeframe than what it would normally take. Intensive courses are a rapid and effective approach to acquire a UK driving licence, compared to taking regular hourly lessons, which can drag on forever

What do you do on an intensive driving course?

All our courses offer a one-to-one tuition with a driving instructor. You’ll do the same training as you would with a normal conventional driving lesson the difference is you would be prioritised with continuous lesson slots and the intensive course will be tailored to focus on the areas that you’re least comfortable with. You’ll then get a fast-tracked practical test at the end of your course ready for that big day.

How long is an intensive driving course?

There are no set rules on this, but intensive driving courses are typically completed within a month. If you’re not sure how much training you need, drop us a call or what’s app message we will be more than happy to assist you.

Are intensive driving courses worth it?

This depends on your individual circumstances, what might be “worth it” for one person won’t be for another, but what we do know is an intensive course will allow you to train at a very fast rate and everything you learn will be fresh in your mind. Intensive courses can save you time and money in the long run as you might need fewer hours training compared to regular lessons, as your condensing lessons into a shorter time frame rather than wasting lots of time recapping forgotten instructions
